Abstract
Modern people¡¯s lack of exercise has been covered in related fields such as public health, medical science, and physical education. They have shown that a lack of exercise especially the reducing or worsening aerobic ability is a factor in chronic degenerative disease. The functions of a living body show a lot of physiological changes at the time of exercise. Within the function of the cardiovascular system, change in heartbeat, blood pressure and blood substance is not only important in order to evaluate human exercise ability but is also used to understand the physiological and biochemical change caused by the influence of exercise on a living body. This study verifies the effect exercise can have on disease causing factors like body constituents substance and blood substance, blood pressure and heartbeat before exercise, right after exercise, after a 15 min break from treadmill exercise, and TENS. Participants were 19 healthy males within their twenties living in Gyongnam district Masan and Chang-won, who had not had drug or musculoskeletal disorders that could affect the experiment. 1) According to this result, the general property of age, weight, stature, body fluid, muscle mass, fat free mass, body fat mass, body fat percentage and BMI have not shown statistically significant differences. 2) According to this result, the change of cholesterol between treadmill group and TENS group has not shown a statistically significant difference. However, Triglyceride (TG) in blood have shown a statistically significant difference. 3) According to this study, RBC change and BASO change between the treadmill group and the transcutaneous nerve stimulation group have not shown a statistically significant difference. However, white blood cell (WBC) change, HGB change, HCT change, PLT change, NEUT change, LYMPH change, MONO change, and EO change have shown statistically significant difference. 4) According to this study, SBP and DBP between the treadmill group and the transcutaneous nerve stimulation group have not shown a statistically significant difference. However, as a result of comparing the change in heartbeat, the two groups have shown a statistically significant difference. As the result of study described above has shown, treadmill exercise and transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation treatment have significant differences in blood substance, blood pressure and heartbeat before exercise, right after exercise and 15 min from exercise. This is interpreted as meaning that light treadmill exercise and transcutaneous nerve stimulation (TENS) can have influence on the change in body substance.
